Anybody have info on the (Plantation Resort)? I have a few buddy's going down and they mentioned that place.

 

I don't personally know anything about this resort, but I'm looking at it myself. It has very good reviews on Tripadvisor.

The last several years I have stayed at Beach Cove Resort. It is in North Myrtle Beach within walking distance of Barefoot Landing where the vendors set up and lots of restaurants. Beach Cove is on the beach with several pools, pool bar, jacuzzis and lazy river. They have an area roped off in their parking garage for motorcycles and they set up a bike was station with water, soap, and towels.

 

I am lucky enough to know someone with a house just a mile from the HD dealership in south Myrtle that I rent. Jamin leather has free trailer parking. also the parking garage in Myrtle beach just off of kings hiway has very cheep trailer parking and it is guarded. The last time I stayed at Seaglass towers I had to park my trailer in the parking garage had no trouble at all. I have been told there is no trailer parking allowed at any Hotel or Condo in the city limits of Myrtle Beach. It might be a little late but take a look at Vacation Rental by Owner on the web (VRBO) sometimes you can find a house to rent at a great price.

My buddy and I booked a room at Ocean Reef. Hopefully it's decent and too far from everything else.

We are going to take the long way down by headed to Nags Head first then taking the ferries back to the mainland. We are breaking the trip down into two days so we can enjoy the trip. Can't wait....just hope we get decent weather!

raining like heck here.....5 minutes sun 5 minutes hard rain all day..Gonna get worse tomorrow. Went the HD Dealership today. Few bikes out Most trailered in because of the bad weather. I would wait until Tuesday to come down.
