Could you give me a little more into about the back light? Where did you get them. I need to change mine. The relocation kit Harley sells is useless. I bought when I bought back rest and rack. There was no way to put the 3 wires through the kit. Ricardo369csh@aol.com

Hey Ricky369,

24V has pointed you to the right link for more info on the rear signals on this bike: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...blackline.html

The short of it, these rear lights allow me to mount both the bags and the HD quick detach sissy bar and they don't blow a bulb every other time I ride it like the stock signals did. I did have to grind the latches on the sissy bar a bit so they would not rub against the finish on the signals. Dremel + 5mins.

Man, there are some awesome Blacklines on this forum. I've been wanting to post my BL on this thread for some time. I got it bone stock in the fall, and it's been evolving over the past few months. But, I think I've slowed down on the mods for a little bit, and got around to taking some pics so it's time. So this is so what it looks like... for now anyway I have an air cleaner cover and rain sock on order, along with a black flush-mount cap... Eventually I'd would like to add the new Progressive Shocks adjustable 422s and drop the back end a little. Maybe custom painted tank with same color scheme. Anyhow, It's my first Harley, and I absolutely love it.

Default LED Extender 54296-11 problem

Your install looks really good, although when I removed my LED from the fender (my Slim FLS although the same as Blackline FXS)the wiring which to my mind should feed through the centre of the extender so the wiring is hidden, but this seems impossible as my LED appears to be a sealed unit? so I cannot re-route the cable within light/LED to allow it to tread throw the extender tube anyone got some tips other than breaking open the LED or replacing? I wanted the extender to avoid relocating the Turn/brake LED to the number plate option available. and allow my detachable sissy bar to be fitted.

Got some updates to my blackline. Switched out my exhaust to the yaffee skirt blowers with some heat wrap. I also got my hands on a rocker headlight and visor trim ring, I think it matches the wider front wheel and fender better than the original light.
