Is it safe to remove the 3M film that is factory installed on the rear fender? Has anyone had any damage to the paint after removing it? It looks terrible now that I've removed the factory seat.
I hear ya there and remember this being asked somewhere, I did ask Harley and they said I need to put some elbow grease into it with brake fluid and will come off. I am still thinking of that method as other advices from the team here seem a much better way of doing it

I ended up using a blow dryer and it peeled right off. Cleaned up the remaining goo with some polish. I used the same technique on the fork reflectors.
Your bike is looking sweet! Its amazing what a few mods can do!

Ya I think buddy thought I was saying nice work on your Blackline and then showing a pic of a NT, not realizing it was my sig. pic and commenting on it too as if it were a Blackline - he must have thought I am an idiot and didn't know the difference. (anyways, I changed my sig. pic for him )
