Glad you're ok. The bike doesn't look too bad in the pictures but was it close to a right-off????

I can see that the forks and the rest of the front end need replacing, was there any damage to the frame or the motor?

It'd be enough to make me weep if it was my bike.

Thanks for all the nice comments on my ride. It is good to get some feed back from like mided people.[sm=smiley20.gif]

I have 2 children 12 & 9 and have only taken them on short trips. My son thinks the seat is a bit hard but I love it myself. I don't think I would ever put the origonal back on. I think though if U doubled a lot the Retro may be a tad small and hard for long trips. But they are easy to change over so probally not a major concern.
My local HD dealer has a standard in their show room with a detachable sissybar that has twisted uprights so you could have any seat and just click on thr bar with a good packrest. They have the retro seat on the display one.

The air cleaner doesn't get in the way at all. I have 3" ext on the foot pegs and had the same when had the aircleaner on my 03 deuce. If I hook into a hard left my leg touches the aircleaner as you lean into the corner but nothing that has ever bothered me. This one is a genuine SE item. You can buy copies of them from custom chrome and the like. I have always liked it since I first saw one on the SE Duece.

Thanks Glad you could share. LOL[sm=smiley36.gif]
After seeing on your bike helped make my mind up to get one. Like the sound as well.

Thanks again for the kind words.

Glad to here your OK.
Bike looked really good. Like your headlight, they look so much better when they are stretched.

Hi mgmajor
If you go here https://www.hdforums.com/faq.asp#4_1

look up Can I upload an image or attachment to my post?
You may attach a file to your post. The allowed file format and the maximum file size will be displayed when you click on "Click here to upload".

For graphical files (jpeg, gif, bmp, png), you can embed the uploaded picture in the post directly by checking the box: “Embed picture in post”.

I try to keep the pictures down to about 400kb.
If U take pic with a digital camera the pics caqn be huge. I run them through a paint program and crop them and save as jpg and the sometimes I will resize to page size and save again. you don't loose much quality for viewing on web or computer but print quality probally not as good.

Hope this helps and hope to see some pics soon.

Any you fellows put Floor Boards on instead of foot pegs? Im toying with the Idea. I dont want Massive ones but stylish slim ones. I wonder what it would look like, hate to buy them and then just hate the look.

I had the same thought a while ago. I would love to see how it looks also.
