I choose the pipes because I thought they would be quiter.
They are not really loud but have a much deeper rumble and the sound goes down towards the road.
My dad said they are a lot quiter than the SE II I had on my 03 Deuce.

I thought they were a bit to quiet to start with but like them now.
Still sings when you twist the throttle.

Your bike is coming together really good. It looks awesome! I agree with you. The aircleaner and that exhaust really compliment each other. The two of them give a nice flow toyour bike.

 

That's one fine lookin' hunk of road iron,Blackdragon. You're right, the pipes and air cleanerwork together really well. I also like the seat and taillight. I'll keep my apes, but what you have thereworks great.

Do you ride with a passenger? I'm still looking for a way to get better back support for the wife without giving up that king/queen seat.

 

Does anyone in here have Wild 1 502s or 572s on their bike? The 502s are 12.5" apes and the 572s are 14" apes. I'm thinking about changing out my bars again, but I want something taller than stock. I'm starting to miss the comfort I had with the stock bars, although I think the bars I have look frickin' cool on my bike. The onlything making my bars not quite as comfy as I'd like is the fact that I'm a short guy and I have to lean a bit to grab the bars. Of course if I got the new bars, I'd have them powdercoated black to match my trees and lowers. I'd like to see some pictures and any comments regarding the Wild 1 502s or 572s. And if anyone would be interested in buying the bars on my bike if I take them off, which have only been on the bike since Oct. 5th, let me know.

 

what sort of price were you thinking for your bars live2ride? Im 6 foot 7 so shouldnt have to much trouble with the reach! ive been thinking of getting some BIG apes.

Howdy, new to the board. I thought I would post a picture of my baby. This was taken a few months ago. Since then a guy pulled out in front of me and now the bike looks a little diffrent. I will post some accident photos when I download yhem to this computer.
