Thanks! I'm still a few days from delivery and feeling very impatient. There's still plenty of ice and sand/gravel on the roads, so I'm not sure I'd be riding yet. Right now I just want it in my Garage!

Hey everyone, Im a proud new owner of a 2009 Softail Custom. I just wanted to say hello to everyone and get ideas for a good solo seat for myself. Im 6'1 and 225lbs, I'd like to kick my legs out a little more when riding solo. Any suggestions?

Definitely loving the Softail btw. Im gonna miss my 06 Street Bob, but the new mistress will do me well.

i have a Brawler solo and I'm pretty happy with it. Sitting position is more backwards and a little lower too.
After a 2-3 hours ride, i start to feel my butt though...

I have to say, I love the Mustang Solo. Added a detachable back rest and pillon for when the OL wants to come along You might want to look into forward control extenders. I think Arlen Ness makes a 3" extention. more than sure some one here has them. Congrats on the new bike!!

Yeah you aint kidding ! trouble is once you start it can go on forever....never realised how much i hate polishing chrome though, so when i do the new wheels think i might go with black with chrome touches in them...no money left this year to change em...meybe next year.
Only advice i would give to anybody that wants to install Heartland kits etc is buy a good secondhand bike then you wont feel so guilty breaking it down and e-baying all the stuff you dont need !
