Hey all. Here's my 07 custom.
I've had it since lastAugust andhaveadded V&H BSS, SERT, Stage 1 A/C, LED tailight and relocated thefront turn signals.
Will be looking to switch out to anaftermarket seat, extended forward controls and 16" Wild 1 apes
in the near future.

O.K...this is before the handle bar upgrade.......I'll post some before / after pics of the front end and bars when the fat mini apes, lighted mirrors and handgrips are installed this weekend. Will allow for the disposal of the front turn signals. As it sits, has V&H Big Shots staggered, V&H Fuelpak andNess Big Sucker along with the retro seat. Was supposed to put the bars on this weekend but believe it or not it snowed here in Tucson.....don't you northern folk feel for us down here!!!!

Nice bike AZM, really like the retro seat.

Any issues with the V&H fuel pack? I am going with the V&H Big Radius soon and don't know if I should go PCIII or the fuel pack.

I've no issues with the fuelpak.....from what I gather here the PC III is much more versatile though. I'm not looking at any internal mods anytime soon so the fuelpakworks for me. Apparently some people here don't like the fact that V&H doesn't share their maps, well other than the standard downloads. This will cause issues if you start doing motor upgrades and the like. Was told that the bike hit the rev limiter quite early but with no tack it's hard to tell where that is??? Took the fuelpak out of the mix and it was about the same so it's nothing to do with that. Honestly I have yet to really test the issue, I ride between 75-85 with a few bursts to maybe 100 when cruising so not really a problem for me at this point.

Here are a couple ofshots with Kuryakyns Hyper Charger & Mustache bar installedon my 07. The Mustache bar (IMHO) is a "cheaper" alternative to extended forward controls (for all you long legged bro's!)It does not interfear with the front fender (not even close), and I have mine adjusted about as far forward as it can be. I'm 6'1" and my legs are just slightly still bent (so I won't get lock knee'd) I got it from a local dealer for $139.00 + the pegs of your choice. I like the idea of having three different positions for my feet for long rides. On the stock pegs, feet draped over the stock pegs (with the pegs in the backs of my ankles) and then this new position, which is a little more elevated, but not uncomfortably so.

As for the Hyper Charger I have not received my Power commander & pipes as of yet, however there is not significant decrease/increase as I can tell. It IS slimmer than the stock air filter & immediately noticeable when I jumped in the saddle, the stocker always rested against my inner thigh. If I drop my feet over the tops of the stock pegs, only then does the hypercharger touch my thigh, and then only the back edge. More power or not, I have always loved the looks of the HyperCharger, I think it looks like the blower off a funny car I guess!! The 07 has more than enough power for me STOCK, so If I loose a little power by adding some additional parts for beauty, so be it. Better photo's when the sun comes out!!

One more, it's dark but shows a good view of how slim it actually is:

Here is my updated custom. Big Sucker, PCIII, Rinehart 2-into-1s. HD compact detachable windshield, stealth grips, knurled chrome pegs, pedals, and shifter. Chrome pod covers and diamondback cables.

The lessons learned from the stage 1 upgrade is posted a few pages back for anyone who wants to read.

I knew I would be addicted to riding. I did not know I would be addicted to customizing. ****, now I need 16" apes and the retro seat!!
