Hi Hogdiver96

Looks good in that colour.
The Round mirrors look good.

I want to have my rear wheel chromed later so keeps the shine and easy to look after.

A few weeks ago a couple of us were talking about the new Corbin seat for the FXSTC. Mine finally arrived after 5 weeks. Itis thinner and sleeker looking than stock, and sits an inch or so lower and just a bit farther back. This one has braided piping andblue stitching. Both very subtle, you have to be pretty close to notice them. The passenger backrest is a couple of inches higher and farther forward than the stock seat - great news for the wife who was really unhappy with the lack of back support.

Snowmass that seat looks really good.
The colour accent stiching sound good as well.
Would like one down the track sometime.

I thought I was the only one have trouble with the rear wheel. It seems no matter how clean I try to keep it, it just looks cloudy. I even picked up some chrome polish this weekend to try and get it back to it's original shine, but no such luck. I noticed that the wheel actually has swirl marks all in it, and that's adding to the cloudy look. I think at some point I'm just going to throw another 40 spoke wheel on the back to match the front. I might even put some twisted spokes in both wheels. That probably won't be for a while, though.

The back wheel gets cloudy quick. [:@]

I tried to clean and had no luck, even with polish, until I sent the bike in for service and it came back shiny again (yea!).

Now I have to figure out what they used.

At least you know its possible to clean-up though!

Mike

Ps What do you guys use on the black parts of the engine? I used wd40 on my yamaha years ago, but ....

I've actually never used anything to clean the black part of my engine on any of my bikes. I've always found that just washing it and drying it with an air compressor or something works fine.

Hi there,
Thanks for compliments about the round mirrors i never really noticed before, it was more luck than judgement (they were the only set the dealer had in when i visited the States last year and i couldn't not buy them as H-D stuff is so cheap over there!

That leather conditioner really makes the blue stitching stand out.
