PMed him yesterday Mark thanks. Go with HD or Paucho with the shock on the springer.2 under if you keep your rear set up,it will be close to level.I don't care for the ride of the DNA set up,doesn't take much of a bump to bottom out on a heavy stock frame set up.They work OK on a 100lb lighter custom.Or you could go big bucks like Chucky but then you'll never live down the copying thing.LOL.For what it's worth I've been hunting a used FX springer for 7-8 months now and I'm always too late when I find one they go quick used.Never happy are ya? You should have left your bike stock like mine and been happy with it.G.

Markie,
If you really want to go old skool, look into a Durfee Girder. They were the ***** in the 70s! I had one on my Amen Saviour framed ironhead.

hey how big of a pain in the *** is it to get the tank off? i had it loose so i could slide it back to get at the electrical clip for the blinkers but i want to get it all the way off so i can get at the clip for the hand controls. going to try to make my bars internally wired to clean them up a bit but need to take the clip apart so ill be able to fish the wires through the bars.
