the tank will fit...the fuel gauge float mount changed in 08...don't know if the 09 float will attach to the 07 bracket without a mod...at worse i guess u could get a 07 fuel gauge sending unit, yet don't know much $ they cost

when I bought my new 07 tank last year, they sent me an 07 tank with an 09 float. They also included a bracket to mate them. I couldnt for the life of me tell you the PN but I do know the part exists.

BTW, I'm about to start making a one piece dash. It will probably closely resemble the KW one but with some minor modifications. will eventually be Pcoated black and possibly have the ignition switch relocated (also like the KW kit does). I was gonna just make it out of sheet metal but my boss is trying to talk me into making it out of billet. Cant really decide, tho I cant see the sheet metal one being that hard to make.

I like the look of black pipes, but they are a PITA to keep looking good. Won't those upsweeps be a problem for Lisa?

BTW, I hope that link was just to show us what they look like. You're not thinking of ordering from Debrix are you? They are located in the city I live in. The address is just a residential apartment complex. I doubt they have any inventory on hand.

Story those look like samson sidewinders which I have. Im gonna wrap them and leave the ends chrome. From all the photos I have looked the passeneger is not affected by pipes.

I cant pull the trigger on the orange paint it is to pretty for me. Probably gonna go black or black and red.

I can't decide Mark but I think that it's gonna look good either way. I was leaning towards black but black pipes tend to fade into the black background instead of standing out like the chrome.
