I am sure G will chime in here but doesn't that only affect the rebound rate not the actual drop

Cam... I heard you have to extend one (power) not sure but one of them can reach? Might be wrong though lots of guys in the thread have done though.

Did you guys have to extend the wires when relocating the coil?

Thanks Mike I know you chopped a lot off there... lol Mine are at 3.25...

all i know about the coil is when you add wire you have to solder it and use same size wire so their is no amp/kilowatt/jiggawatt loss

I've haven't installed a drop in kit yet Tart,I don't think they act the same as the regular springs. From what everyone says the height can be affected by spacer length on the drop ins.Welcome new guys, spend your hearts out. G.

Looks like I'm going to do 3.75 at first (Thanks Nate) and see how much it gives me and how it handles afterwards. Also next question is I might just make a week of it and have my lowers and triple tree powdercoated. With that being said how much of a pain in the a$$ is taking apart the triple tree? Or is my best bet to take it off and take it to the dealer to have the bearing pressed out then coated and then back to the dealer for a new bearing?

I'd cut the bearing off w/a grinder, then buy a new one. no need to have the dealer re-install, tightening your stem will press it back on for you. A good trick is to freeze the bearing it will stretch the hole so it damn near falls on. Probley save ya 50 bucks too.

Most times they damage the bearing taking it off... You can put a new on yourself!

Looks like I reached my jiggawatt limit... on photobucket again... lol Those bastards... I deleted a big vid should be back up soon???

Looks like I'm going to tackle all this in the next couple of weeks cause I just ordered a set of 14 inch bars and cables today.
