Billy's a personal friend of mine. Get a couple of beers in him and he turns into a chatterbox.. He's a riot! We've got a nice group of people to ride with, and Billy's dad is always there too..
There isn't much I can do with my bike right now, so I'm thinking a set of sick handlebar bends might do the trick for something different in 2009.. He'll be coming into my deli soon enough for lunch, and then I'll be able to hit him up for something then.

Mark, dinner will be on me!
I'm trying to coordinate with some friends, so it's looking like mid August. I'm hoping to rent a bike for a day, and then we'll see if we can make it work out...

Thanks Lundee.... Thanks willyp.

Yeah, they are the deuce stock risers. I changed my bars to 31" with only a 5" pullback. No issues at all with clearance. Real close but does not hit.

Hey Chuck,
Which front lowering kit did you use?
1" or 2"?

I used the HD 1", but it just doesn't look low enough to match the back. It does ride as good as stock.
I'm thinking of doing a 2" if I can get some ride feedback.
I'm also thinking of the SAS rear suspension if anybody has some thoughts. It's pricey as hell, but it will solve my 2 up problems....

Default First try at custom....need some tips

Hey Lundee I am attempting my first custom on my 08 Night Train. I saw you were chopping 5" off the back fender and ordered a jockey shift. What all did you have to change to chop the fender? And where did you find your shifter?
thanks
Nickelfish

Hey Marky Mark! Still have low-rent shop for ya! LOL!

George - didn't lower the front. Sorry. Did go with 3* trees tho. I know someone who has the SAS and he LOVES it.

Back Again - oil bag was made by http://www.motoxcycle.com/home.html This is the 2nd unit I bought from Fausto. They are aluminum and EXCELLENT quality. I had Metal Mike do the coating for me.
