I'd love to have a black denim SG, but I don't want to get rid of any of my bikes to get it. I see a 07 or 08 Nightster in my future (1 year or so) for the wife. Like it was said "gotta keep momma happy"

Don't do it. Get her a Deluxe instead. Lot of girls I know started on Sporties and when they got big bikes they commented on how top heavy the Sporty was. They had to relearn riding. Just my .02 cents.

Cool CAD Bike. My wife wants a Street Bob, may try to find her a bike IDK, as for the street glide in my future I'd have to get rid of the night train and I still have more plans for it so I'm not bord with it yet. So no SG anytime soon for me I just like to look and dream I reckon.

The only problem is that she's 5 foot and 110lbs so I don't know how she would do witht he extra weight. Plus she has never riden before.

My wife doesn't want a sportster but she's like 5'1" also and she can't reach the controls on my bike that's why she likes the dyna cuz it has mid controls.

So I found a great deal on some pegs to match my ness grips only prob is there chrome. Thinking I'll just powder coat them solid black, Anyone think that'll look ok? I figure It'll be a bit different

So I hear that this is the place that loves to spend your hard earned money. So I thought I'd ask... I think I'm ready for new pipes and I'm trying to decide if I should keep the pipes that I have now and have them powercoated black or go with a whole different setup. I've got V&H Big Shots Staggered right now.

I'd get em ceramic coated and rock those I know they sound better than my Paul Yaffe's, Mine are a lot better with the thunder monster baffles but still I like the sound of V&H

I thought those had full heat shields? If so, just get the shields coated. Much cheaper and same look.
Personally, I liked the V&H pipes until I was riding next to a wall on the interstate. I thought "what is that tinney noise?" It was the V&H pipes on my '05 Heritage. Won't run V&H anymore.
Oh, and I would pass on the Nightster. Not really a good riding bike. It beats the hell out of ya. Wife's is much better now that it's a trike tho......

How about some new Bassani's in black? I also steer away from V&H nothing wrong with them just been over done through the years IMO...

It's hard to tell all depends which way you're gonna go with your bike???
