Dibs noted.

Check out DarkTraK's bike he did it with the stock strut under the covers and it came out nice.

Something like this...

yea, that's a thought but I might like the point to go straight back rather than down. Not sure as I can't thing how to make up a photoshop image from the side to know for sure.

But will look at DT's fender job. But I'd kinda like to keep the full strut length, to use the detachable rack and sissybar.

I don't have that problem. The wife cringes for me! Even though the money I spend is on her bike!

They are the fronts, I just sent them back to them so they could figure it out why they are not working.

Hey all.
I fell in love with the NT when it first came out....though I was torn at first with the Bad Boy Springer.
Had my 2008 Crimson Night Train for exactly 2 years now.

Nothing outrageous as far as mods, just enough to make it "not stock"
Mod list:
V&H Short-Shot exhaust with black heatshield.
V&H Fuel-Pak.
K&N "tall" intake w/ stock cover over it (thinking about cutting sides of cover off for better flow)
C&C custom solo seat.
Street Slammer handlebars.
Diamond Black edition grips & footpegs, and matching pedal/levers on brake & shifter.
Tri-bar LED brake light.
CVO tinted turn signals.
Detachable mounting w/ detachable rack (sissybar coming soon)
Tribal Black mirrors
Skull Design tank bib

On the "Definitely going to happen" future list:
oil cooler
flush gas cap/gauge (black of course)
Fork brace

The "What I'd like to do if I can afford it" list:
103cc kit w/ 255 cams
*maybe* rear fender mod
Oil pressure gauge

On to a few pics.

The day I brought it home, parked behind my other Pride & Joy:

The next morning, with exhaust on it:

With new bars:

The C&C Solo seat:

It may just be an optical illusion or my eyes playing tricks on me but your front end looks bent to me. it could also be the angle of the pictures but it looks like the tubes start out at an angle then after the bottom tree begin to reverse that angle. anyone else think that looking at these pics. it also could be this old fu*kin computer im using
