It does sound killer.
What kind of cams are they?
I was quoted $1.5k for a gear cam set up installed.
Would you suggest doing the carburetor first?

I went with andrews 37G's and yes do the Mikuni first... No F'ing around when you put the carb on it'll feel like a whole different bike, it just wakes the motor up the cams just added a little topend and a beat to the sound. I went with the 37G's cause they will work fine with what I have but if I decide to do the jugs and heads the cams will also work with that also... Didn't want to have to upgrade the cams again if I get deeper into the motor.

BTW... I bought everything in peices on ebay, except for the cam kit and S&S gears I got from a forum member total for parts I think I spent $580... then the install $370. All in all $950 from start to finsh... not bad.

Nice clean ride Kluge!
That is an SU carb. Old school; popular on Shovels and iron Sportsters back in the day...

Schaub85 - Great photos. The abandoned building is very cool, but I really dig the shots with the graffiti in the background; looks wild and dangerous...

BNCR- what brand/style tank is that on your scoot? The paint looks great!

Hey fellas, been a while but I'm finally back on the mod train again. I'm thinking about ditching the apes and goin with a drag/broomstick look. Kinda diggin the low and mean look. Don't know if I want to go with the stock risers and bars again but I'm looking for a suggestion as to what would look good. Comfort is secondary for me lol. I was thinking maybe 6" spike risers and turn down style bars like a board racer.....?
