Right now, I'm living in Poway and working in Encinitas. I ride back and forth around those two areas and up around the hills of the Ramona area when I do get some free time. But we're moving to the north county area soon, so all that will change. Where in SD are you? Where do you like to get out and ride?

The Kracken is right down the road, let me know when you hit that up and I'll try to catch up with you sometime.

Yeah, it has been getting warm out in Poway too. But it was a cold (cold for SD standards) and rainy ride in this morning.

Default snap shots

Few snap shots showing a little progress.
Not real settled on any direction with it yet, having fun riding it while the weather is good.

I know most of you ride solo, but to the one that carry a passenger do they ever complain about the peg position on the softail?

The Wife has not said much about the peg position, however we did have to have a talk after I caught her accidentally resting her foot on my stock pipes, which in turn melted black shoe-goo all over my stocker. Luckily I was in the market for after-market pipes at the time so she just sped that process up . Maybe there is something to the peg position since she would have rather rest her foot on my pipes as opposed to the pegs.

I have some nasty looking spots on the polished part of my rear wheel and I can't get them off any polish or something I should use to get them off with?

So who here ended up with the heartland fender it ended up going for 120.50

I have had problems with shoes being melted on my pipes before i changed to my current setup as well and they have complained because I have the solo bag on one side that they can't move there feet back all the way

You can move the peg up where I have mine. Just use the existing hardware and mount it where the struts go into your frame horns. Just look at some of my pics. You will get the idea. My wife couldnt take the heat from the pipes.
