I guess you haven't' ridden on the new E3's yet.
They pretty much set the bar much higher than most MC tires are prepared to go. Metzelers are almost as good.
The stock 200/55/17 is far better than the stock (whatever they are) Dunlop's on the narrow tire HD's. They just wear out way too fast and compared to the CT I'm running now; they are second rate.
Just trying to put it in perspective.
What size are you running OK?

As long as you're happy with them.
Out here in July and August when it gets up to 120 degrees in the summer the road and tires get very hot and soft so the tire wear out double quick. Anything we can do to improve on that is a blessing.
