a buddy and myself installed the Carlini 16" Gangster apes on Saturday and I installed the Samson true dual longtails today (what a pain in the ***). Getting an exhaust leak at the rear head (left pipe). The exhaust flange isn't seating properly. Gotta look into that this week. But here's some pics.

Looks great Jason. If you used Screamin Eagle gaskets, it might have something to do with the leak. That's one place where I think stock is better.

You missed a hellova ride today, but at least you got something useful accomplished.

thanks bob! yeah. i wanted to ride today, but i had my mind set on getting as far as i could today with the pipes and the license plate relocation. i spent most of the morning going to all the local dealers looking for a swing arm bracket. finally wound up buying some tin snips and sheet metal from home depot and fabbed one up myself. cheaper than ordering one too.
