Mike the ride is looking sick, I will be by soon to check it out!!
Don't forget to get your Blinking LED Valve Stem Covers, I seen red blinking spikes. That should add about 15 to 20 horses each...LOL

guys whats the best way to lower the front and improve handling at the same time ?
drop-in kit or progressive original kit ? with heavy fork oil ?
2" under tube is out of the equation, cant afford international shipping.
I dont care about ease of installation

Buy a really big fork bag and hire a fat midget to live in it...should be good for about a 2" drop.

I can safely say by experience you will get a very nice improvement with the Ricor Intiminators. I'm running them in my bagger and was so impressed with them I picked up a set for my Train which I will be installing very soon. Nose dive and the rocking motion you get by going through the gears are gone. The bumps and pot holes in the road have disappeared by 50-75%.

I believe Ricor is still giving a 30% discount to HDF members by using the code "hdforums". It brings the cost to around $209 for the set. Be sure to get the Amsoil 5wt shock oil to go with it.

I'm not running the Progressive lowering kit but it was designed with ease of installing in mind and everyone I have read about likes them.

You could probably installed both in under an hour even though you did say installation wasn't an issue.

The only problem with upgrading the antique designed front fork shocks is you will realize the back shocks are **** poor and need an upgrade too. I'm happy with the Progressive 422's but running them slammed takes away a lot of the benefit from them. Oh well - sometimes we have to give up something to look cool.

Lookin' very good. I like the direction you went with your Train. I'm doing something similar but without the spoiler. Nice job!

Looks awesome, man! Did you have to buy longer bolts for the fork brace? Mine came with bolts that aren't long enough. **Is that the 2&1/2 gallon tank from J&P?**

thanks man...yep had to get longer bolts..think they ended up being 2-1/2"...its actually a Cole Foster tank; says it is a 2.5 but i have a sporty fuel pump in there so im sure I lost a little but hopefully the comp. does its job and get decent mileage too soon to tell.
