Default Spring Update

Snapped a couple of new pics of the Train last weekend after throwing the powdercoated parts back on and going for a quick ride. New exhaust came today. Hopefully will have that on and get some final dyno numbers by the end of next week. I also need to paint the AC backing plate and give it a good cleaning before summer.

Thanks Smug. It is a blast to ride, and it really surprises the 600 crotch rockets that think they are pretty quick. I'm still running a belt right now. I've got about 1,500 miles on the bike since the motor was put together, and 14,500 total on the bike, so it is only a matter of time before the belt lets go. I may do a chain conversion if/when the belt goes, depending on how much longer it lasts. I think the only thing saving the belt is the fact that I can't get the tire to hook up, and I haven't been to a drag strip yet. If I can find a tire that can put the power down, I'm pretty sure I'll be going to a chain real quick. But it isn't a drag bike, so it's kind of fun being able to lay down a little rubber in third gear.

Thanks guys. Those are the same grips, I just wrapped them with athletic wrap...Makes them Eleventy-Million times better feeling...and adds ATLEAST 40hp....shyt, the Jockey kit alone was prolly good for another 75hp...

One of my buddies (rides a Vrod... well, a NightRod...) He just bought some new wrap made out of expanded lava rock... much silkier and smoother than asbestos and is not supposed to get brittle. The trade-off? Cost... The price of cool ain't cheap!
