twist yea a little, when you lower it 2" the pvc comes up and when you push it down to put the top on it compresses the spring some, making it a stiff ride the more you cut off it softens it up so if you cut enough off your front end weight will drop a little but with the heavy oil you keep your stiffness....so you dont bottom out but you dont want to cut too much off i think i cut off 1 inch with just the 1 inch drop so might go another 1/2 when i drop it the other inch.......once i can think straight....lol

for all of you who have lowered the front of your bike and mark who put 3 degree trees on which would any of you rather do? if you could redo your bike and had the money would you rather put on 3 degree trees to help level out the lower frame rails or would you buy a lowering kit and instal that to help level out the lower frame rails?

i cant decide what im leaning towards. go with 3 degree trees or a progressive drop in kit.

The "3rd spring" goes in under the damp in the base on our kits

AH HA!! We have a winner! lol Yeah i think thats where the confusion was. I have the drop in kit. PHEW! Thought I was going crazy...I was like, there is NO way I can shove all three springs into the top of these forks! lol
