Dude I wish my wife had her own bike. I told her if she got her license I would giver her mine and I would work on somethin else. The Forward controls are straight Ebay product ($250). I just ordered the kickstand bracket monday. I am leavin that chrome for some contrast along with some bolts. Lundee you had to throw that low blow in there about wife havin her own bike .
I am actually lookin forward more to the brackets that will be fabed up for more room. I am 6'3 and my calfs rest on the pegs. Kills me on long *** trips. Another inch would be a world of a difference. Guy at the dealership way back had his 6'' out. Talk about comfy. I sat on it and I have been waitin to do it to mine.

 

Cool, thanks DB. I should be cool. I think once i get them off, Im just gona tape em off and bomb them. That other stuff I rattled is still holding strong. Prob wont put clear over these though, that way I can touch it up later with less work.

Its been raining all day so I havnt had a chance to test the brakes today. My friend finally came over last night and gave me a hand. I did notice a lot of air come out. and I have a pretty firm lever. (I just said firm lever!!)

DB, The headlight is stock. I see the notches, but I cant really tell if they have to lock into something ??
