I bled my front brake today and I found my brake light problem. Seems the lever is not activating the switch all the time. When I pull the pin that holds the lever out and readjust the lever, it works correctly, but once I push the pin all the way in, the brakes come on.. Any ideas ?

So you're saying that with the pin all the way in the brake light stays on but if you push the lever away from the grip the light goes off? If so I would check that plastic bushing first
the one that wraps around the pin... if it's a new one... try the old one. I had that problem about a year ago the brake light wouls stay on... I put a small srcew in the end of the brake light switch so that the lever would activate the switch but thats just me. I got tired of using hand signals

OR try the lever without the bushing to see if it helps? If it does maybe you can thin the bushing out some?

Good luck... I what thats like... Don't worry you'll figure it out.

Mike I didn't make it out today... rain was coming down around here. But next week Sunday is a go... I'll send out a text... early this week!

I got me a new phone today... wanted something that could take good quality pics... after I worked on the bike... Took the sender unit out for the gas gauge to see if it was hanging up, put it all back together same thing what a waste of time... lucky it only took 15 to 20 minutes... lol Anyway here's some sample pics with the new phone...

Not so new but I put those finned head bolt spark plug cover also...

Hey mark, no worries. I went for a Pali, kappa quarry, kam, H3 run. Got dumped on, on the leeward side of the mountain but all in all it was a good ride. Went out to watch the R/C airplanes and then gave the Pali hell on he way back. I still Gotta get those covers back to you. There were two REALLY BAD bike crashes today. One fatal on snake road and one in critical on kunia and kapuna. Everyone ride safe! Please keep your eyes open! on a lighter note, those pics are sweet! What phone is that?

Thanks it's a "Behold" and it's got a 5mp camera... I'm stoked, don't have to bring the camera. Poor thing about the riders... can't be to careful these days. My heart goes out to those families. Ride Safe!
