Well, I had the scoot all apart waiting on my bars from BR but I decided that I would rather put it back together for the wait and ride it than be prepared to install them as soon as they show up. So here are some quick shots with the new grips, pegs, painted headlight, rear signal visors(that need to be painted) and a bath. Hey mark, those covers don't fit, I tried for 10 minutes, lol. I'll give you a holler when I can swing down and drop em' off.

They are a hybrid. Take the spikes from the "Ape Killers" and put them on the "Open Apes" and thats what Im getting. They measure: 14"H x 30"W x 2" pullback.

Nah, the visor thing pissed me off so I decided to just paint the stock one, save the money, and put it towards the jockey shift. I just recently saw a picture of my buddy's train back home with a heartland kit on it...and now, I don't think I will sleep very well until I have one of those on my bike...lol....Does this shyt ever end??

Naw. It's like a sickness. It never really goes away. I know this was a rhetorical question but how many times have you heard about guys getting away from bikes for one reason or another only to come back to them later in life?

BTW, in case you missed the thread, the Heartland kit is availible through ebay for $1260 for the 06 and 07.
