it looks good. mind me asking why you went dual disk? was it for safety reasons? either way, it's different and looks bad azz. what did you do to get that low in the front? are you running 2 under tubes?

Man all of you NT guys have made me want to try some apes
I took my first real long ride since installing the z bar and it starts to hurt the shoulder and clutching with it that far up at that angle makes me really want a foot clutch
Only thing is I don't know how high I would want. Any ideas Im 6'1"

That front rim was originally for a road king (dual disc) I had been eyeballing it for a while wondering how it would look on my bike.
Earlier this year I had nailed a pot hole and ruined my 21". A couple of weeks prior to hitting the pot hole the guy had discounted this rim.
I figured I've got all the stuff minus the rotors, i'll just make this a dual disc eventually. So I went and got it.
To make a short story long, doing something different.
Running two under tubes with the lowering kit. Can't remember who brought it up but they also have the 4 under tubes at bkrider.
If I were to do it over I'd get the 4 under instead of hasseling with the lowering kit.

It's way more comfortable than the drag bars for me anyway.
Don't get that burning sensation in my shoulders that I used to when riding with the drag bars.
Got them for looks but it was plus when I realized just how much more comfortable it was on the long rides.
I've got 16s on mine and I'm 6'.

My springer is the DNA 2'' over. Had to have a bracket fabbed up to keep the stock brake and move it to the right side. The pic is prior to the tire being rotated so it is rotating the correct direction. It uses a 3/4 axle which i got new bearings from harley to fit then had the spacers made to get all the alignment correct. Still got some adjustment to do on the torque arm off of the brake bracket to get the correct angle for braking but its gonna have to wait till i get back from iraq. im getting tired of paying for parts to get fabbed that i can make myself. My dad has been nice enough to put all my parts on for me while i have been gone and i cant wait to get back and take her for a spin.
