I lowered my front fender 3/4", and it still didnt look as good as my new fender does. I pretty much just cut the excisting mounting holes of, cut another 3/4 out and rewelded the mounts back on. If you do it you have to put spacers in between the sliders and the fender or your fender will rub the tire. The fender just doesnt wrap well around the tire.

I do have a pristine stocker front fender, Black cherry if anyone wants a guinea pig to fvck with. Durty cheap. If anyone wants to try and get creative without ruining their actual fender.

Same in Oregon. We rode to a buddy's birthday party on Saturday 50 miles away; a group of about 20 bikes. We got rained on (absolutely pelted) all the way to the little country bar they had reserved for all of us. Right as we pulled in the sun came out... We stayed a couple hours then decided to head home. It was pouring AGAIN. We rode 50 miles back home in a down pour! Well, at least it was relatively warm out...
