Got my chrome sliders on this afternoon, put on a 1" shorter kickstand and slammed the *** down from 2" to 2.5"

I'm ready to bolt on my fender Tomorrow or maybe Friday as the painter is wet sanding and doing whatever they do to make em' shiny.

I like the 2.5" drop better as the lip of the rim is dead nutz even with the bottom of the fender.

The chrome sliders look better in person against the black rim than they do online with my chitty photography.

My sig pic is a 2" rear drop. This is 2.5" and it still rides....Like Chit!! (Love It)

The shorter kickstand is a must at this point IMO. With the stocker my bike was straight up and down and I would constanly be waiting for it to fall over outside the bar or store or even in my dammned driveway if a breeze hit it.

Now it lays right over as it should and is stable. Nice new chrome stand only cost me $28.00 on Flea-Bay and is actually nicer than the stocker.

Fvckin tuner guy was on vacation all week....

This upcoming Monday it will be tuned. I hope the numbers get good. Its so sloppy rich that when you fire it up the exhaust reeks of straight fuel.

Hoping optimistically for 95/110on that Riney up from 93/104 on my BSS.

We lose about 10% power up here at 6K above sealevel. Derned stage 3 build would probably churn out 100/115 down at sealevel....Thats a good mod. Move down to sealevel!

Ummmm Nah.

I know you got a few dollars left for air ride.
Its on my wish list after the Jockey shift and narrow beach bar conversion.

So its a 2010 project....Unless I stumble across a deal that cannot be passed up on Flea-Bizzle?

I have looked at this one a few times but dread the thought of a chitty el-cheapo system. Buy cheap= Buy twice.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AIR-R...Q5fAccessories

This is the one that looks worth saving for:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HARLE...Q5fAccessories

Pretty wild variance there.

The Arnott is priced between the crappy cheapo unit and the uber badass SAS:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ARNOT...Q5fAccessories

Air Ride is something I need to learn more about. Dunno what the ride quality is between the different units but have to think its better than my $89.00 cheapo el-slammo bolt kit?

Don't skimp on air ride, you get what you pay for. Just my 2 cents...

I have the Hi Lo air ride and have no complaints Chaz. I never see the compressor and most important thing to me is Lifetime warranty on the shocks. If the compressor goes eventually as they all do then will replace when it starts to die. I wonder how long they do last? hmm.... I am pretty sure Hi Lo would sell me one, whatever though. I do not miss my cheapo kit by a long shot. When I leave of places with no air it is a sweet reminder of what I am not missing. I had people tell me they hated me because of how jealous they were of the air suspension. Pullin up somewhere and droppin the *** end on this thing gets a crowd going. You can really hear the air come out of it to.
Chaz make sure you post pics ASAP when you get that fender. That pipe is the chit. Your bike flows from front to back without the fender, cant imagine it with the long boy on there. The drop really added to it big time. It is a whole new bike.
