Default Night Train to Bobber!

Like this one! This bobber looks so much meaner than the original night train. Done by Allan Le Beau of Newport, NC. It was a 2007 Night Train until he decided to rework it. It has a 6" over Springer front end with 3 degrees of rake. Rear fender is chopped and he used truck bed liner paint. The intake and exhaust are custom.

Good use for an otherwise ordinary bike (by H-D standards that is)

Meaner????? Idk. Looks good but not all that impressed with it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though.

1+
It's nice, but there's a LOT of room for improvement on that train if you measure it up to the standard of some the trains in this thread.

Have to agree with Ink and Magneeto, not my style at all.

I thought a "bobber" was low and lean. That looks a little tall - more "chopper" style look. I had a springer on my Train without rake and it looked more stretched out than that bike.

Looks good if you like the "bobber" look. I personally like the bobtail fender. I do like the springer front end though...but don't care for the stock rear wheel. Most here have made their trains "their own" and I wouldn't say the train was an "otherwise ordinary bike"

Just my 2 pennies

I'll help burst the bubble...that "custom" air intake is an S&S double heavy breather.

Thread has been pretty stagnate. What's everyone been up to? I'm going to guess its because of the constant rain for the last couple of weeks. The weather just won't get nice and stay nice! Mark must be enjoying it on the island...he's been away for a while.

Hey Cyg, quiet on my behalf due to being thousands of kilometers from my bike for the last two months. My go up that end of OZ soon and fit whatever new parts have arrived

Been doing a no of traveling around Australia, looking for a place to call home. I work a 7 day on 7 day off roster so realistically I can live anywhere and travel anywhere on my days off. Down in Sydney this week

Anyway hope all are well!

Default 2008 Train

My 2008 with 8,000 miles as bought last month.
Looking forward to mods and riding.
I have a oem king and queen seat for it, and about to order up a Ginz bar for the back.
Tank lift was done after this picture, and trying to find out where the tail light can be had I keep seeing on the soft tails where it looks like maybe a smoked lens that fits the shape of the fender, and has rows of leds.
