f#*ked up day today. Got the bike on the lift and just finished cleaning it and went in the house to watch the end of the race with the kids.Had the lift table lowered. Came back out and the train is laying on its side on the garage floor half on the lift and half on the ground. Front peg, clutch handle, and rear peg took most of the hit.new front fender laying on the table.****! The lift's front wheel clamp broke at weld. Other than the clutch handle and some scrapes on Story's primary cover no damage. Never put a strap on a bike on the table in 7 years. Don't know that I will after I build my own wheel clamp. Come on weds.

That's sucks! Was it a Harbor freight table? Lost mine once too. Still run the same f'd up front brake control that got bent on the way down. Always use my straps now.

You guys recommend a decent table? I'd hate to have that sort of trouble.

Went for a ride out of town today with a good mate of mine. Nothing beats listening to multiple worked v-twins shredding up the country side. Something I don't get much of a chance to do

Need to adjust the spacing a hair more then cut up the fender.
Looks like a 200mm will fit with the stock '05 belt.

Pics for the thread.
Looks good man. Love the pipes Although I am a bit biased.

If you are feeling particularly hateful to yourself someday, try wrapping your pipes individually Absolutely sucks, but it is a great look for the Hooker.

and gratuitous jockey shift shot

BTW guys,

I have a new air cleaner coming in the mail, so the RSD Velocity Stack will be for sale. http://www.rolandsands.com/products/...-black-anodize

$449 new. I will be getting rid of mine for $150 plus shipping. Just seeing if any Train guys want it before I throw it up on the Classifieds for $200.

Everything included except gasket. Super easy install. I will also include a second screen that is cut to shape to do a bit more "filtering"

Reason I am selling it because I got an AC I really wanted coming in the mail: http://www.figuremachine.com/product...w-vision-5.php

So if anyone is interested, PM me, I only come in here once a week or so. I have an APO address so shipping from here is just like any other State. I can also ship from a Canadian address for you filthy Canucks on here.

Also interested in trades for something cool. Looking for new grips and a black throttle side brake lever.

I am still using it until the new one comes in. I dont think I would be ready to ship it for 2-3 weeks. I wont be putting it onto the Classifieds until I have yanked it off the bike though.

No not a cheap table either. You can see in the arm the weld was too hot. New arm will be 1/8" wall and Tig welded. What the hell another battle scar no big deal.I think tubing was too small to begin with.Milwaukee Twin bars are bad ***. They took a direct hit and didn't bend a lick.

Well man that's a least some good news, only relatively small fixes. Just think of the weekend ahead you lucky bastards have got!
