I couldn't wait any longer. I bit the bullet on Saturday and called JD to order my air ride, figure the rear of the bike is tore apart and Winter has seemed to have set in here in PA. so now would be a good time to get it all done.

I've been thinking about going to drag bars. My train had street slammers on it when purchased but I hated them, they had too much pullback for me, and I felt balled up in the seat. That's the reason I went to apes. Kinda getting tired of them. (Plus I can't just leave anything alone)

So I was running an extension cord to the shed to hook up the battery tender and was sitting on the bike. I think some wider drags (mild pullback) with approx 4" risers will work out good.

You guys have any suggestions? From what I've found so far, Flanders makes a bar that looks like it's what I want. It's the F4 model, 27.5" wide, 18 degree bend to give 3.75" pullback. I don't want an all in one setup. I want the risers and bar separate to make it more custom to my tastes.

Any other companies I should look at? Most seem to be real narrow or a bar/riser combo.

Thanks G, I didn't know what stock width was until I just looked it up. Guess I'm looking for wider than that, and now apparently wider than the F4's. On to more searching!
