Alright guys...so it is almost time here to start prepping my bike to put away for the winter. What do you all do to prep your bike for storage and what do you use to cover you bike while it is in storage. I know Story doesnt have this problem with that beautiful weather in Hawaii.
Move to Florida this is when real riding season begins. Seriously though used to live in PA and moved so I could ride all year. But when I used to live there we would change fluids, put fuel stabilizer in fuel tank, light coat of WD40 on unpainted metal parts to help prevent corrosion and cover with breathable material so moisture cannot accumulate. Then move lazy boy out to garage beside bike so you can sit and drink beer next to it till spring. (wife will love that part)
I just fill the tank full and dump some seafoam in the tank. Let it run for about 10 minutes and then call it good! I just throw a few old sheets over her to keep the dust off her. I've never pulled a battery or used a tender and my batteries always work fine.
