Here's my Train this spring....and now how it looks yesterday. After a couple weekends of work.....Take some better pix with my regular camera this weekend.

 

Actually, If I sold the Train I probably would get a Street glide. lol
I think If I get orders I’ll just put it in my dad’s garage I guess. I don’t really wanna take the loss. I sure don’t know how she will do sitting up for 3 or 4 years though.

Abs put it up on blocks. Go thru the fuel shut off deal after you put some Sta-Bil in it.Disconnect the battery and put a trickle charger on it and have your Dad plug it in once every 6 months for a week or so. Let a little air out of the tires and put a good coating of tire preservative on it. You will be good to go when you get home. sounds like your wanting to go so I hope you get it and good luck. I thought I read somewhere about a light spraying of all your electrical componets with wd40 as well ?

Remember to stuff some steel wool in your pipes and just cover it with a light sheet --- not a tarp.

 

Thanks fellas, I actually did put in for orders G, (Should find out in a couple months) The wife and I agree if we don’t go on Uncle Sam’s dollar we never will, So yea I would like to experience a different culture and see something different. I have been in Chucktown for almost 5 years and this is definitely not home to me so even though it’s not bad at all here I just have an itch to go.

I never ride the ol train anymore. It’s really a shame honestly, but it seems every time I do some fuggin idiot here tries to kill me.
