Just about to wrap my Hooker Fourbidden pipes. Want to do it a little different than what guys are doing with them. As you can see in my sig picture, the Hookers actually come off the header with 2 pipes. Any wrap jobs I have seen wrap BOTH pipes at once. I want to wrap each pipe individually right to the collector.

I have wrapped a set of Longshots but just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to do it the way I am talking about. I have 1" wrap to do it with. I know to soak it in water and start from the collector. I am just concerned cause it is a little tight up near the headers and collector....its gonna be a bitch of a job but I think it will look awesome.

Well boys it was a long weekend at our local bike rally. Here's some pics of everyone getting ready for the dice run this past Sunday. The bikes were packed in all the way around the track, filled the gas station parking lot and people were even waiting on the sides of the street. I never heard a final tally of the number of bikes. Then a shot of me on a ride Saturday that got snapped by a lady I work with as her and her husband passed me.

 

It doesnt look like there is enough space between the pipes to ge the wrap through?

There is definitely enough space. Just near the headers and collector I may have to cut and wrap as one....but I think for the majority of it, I can get them individually wrapped. Pics to follow as soon as the wrap gets here. The sig pic doesnt show but there is at least 1/2" between the dual pipes portion.

still alive just busy! thought I blew the bike up (helluva knock coming from top end) turns out the bolt that holds gas tank to frame in the rear was lose THANK GOD. ELVIRA lives and has seen much duty this summer!

Maybe it was a design flaw. What brand?
