Mid you can mount the ecm on the splash guard and fill that in to let tire go alittle deeper. I havent done it yet but several others have moved the ecm to splash guard.

Sounds like the consensus is gloss black. Now what about suggestions for the headlight?

I'll be installing my progressive lowering kit (not drop in) next weekend and was wondering how much you guys that got a 2" drop cut off the pvc? Thanks in advance everyone.
IIRC, I cut mine to be flush or a little protruding with the tube fully extended per the directions supplied. This provides a little preload on the springs. Cutting it a little shorter might provide for a bit more drop but since the full kit lowering is accomplished by adding the damper springs, then all you'll really be doing is changing the preload.

sorry I missed this in your 1st post. I cant help you with an aftermarket one cause I dont even know what mine is - it was a flea market find.

You could just powder yours black at the same time you get the rest of your chit done

Haha yeah about that. I actually ended up demolishing the rubber deals inside the headlight trying to get it ready for the powder coater. So yesterday I ended up ordering one for like $80.
