Default Shotgun Air Ride

Howdy people been looking at these and i can't find any real negatives about this product and even did a search of these forums and just really find everything just full on positives , so whats the problem you ask ? Well i rang my shop in Adelaide (not Harley Heaven) and he bagged em said they ride hard and only good if you want to change the height etc anyways he recommended that i should go progressive shocks much better less hassle ride better etc . I know he sells this product and doesn't sell shotguns he also said that he would buy the legends if i was to go with the air ride but he still thinks the progressives are the best fit for my bike which is 07 night train . Well whats peoples opinion here as i was set to go the shotguns and had a reasonable quote from JD but this has confused me a fair bit and the bottom line is i want a more comfortable ride than just the lowering bolts as they are hard as hell on the old body over bumps and i like the slammed look and i thought the air ride system was adjustable in both height and comfort so whos right here and whos wrong or is he just trying to sell me something from the shop . Would love to hear peoples thoughts on this .

Many Thanks Wayne

Sounds like the typical business, trying to sell you something from their shop.

I've had lowering bolts, Progressive 422's, and Shotgun Shock. I haven't tried many other air rides but nothing I've ridden comes close to the Shotgun.

i increased the spring tension in the front and lowered two inches, when i ride 2 up with a good amount of air in the shock it handles like a town car. so f ing cool, and you can look ultra dope, and slammed when not 2 up.
