I've run plenty of mis-matched tires and tread patterns in 35 years of street bikes....... Last was 120 Metz on front with stock Dunlop 200 on the back. The 90/90 is a nice fit under the stock front fender

Thanks for the info guys. Have you heard any issues with the Elite 3 on the front? Posts I find say Dunlop doesn't recommend it.

i run elite 3's on the Train but they are paired up.Great tires. I run metzler/avon mixed on the Sportster and it runs out just fine. So far mileage on the E-3's looks like they will outlast both the stock Dunlops and Metzler put together.way better ride than previous tires.

Ok great. With the Elite on the rear, I'll order up an E3 for the front. Thanks again!

I have ridden sport bikes in the past, but this is my first Harley. I have an '07 Night Train and need a little help; Theoretically, you shouldn't mix tires - or at least change them together but my rear tire is in pretty good shape (stock 200mm Dunlop). I want to change the front to a 90/90 Avon. Is this gonna be Ok?

Howdy peoples i have a few questions as i am not finding a certain part so does anybody know of a decent number plate holder inc stop light to suit a chopped fender as we can not have a side plate in South Australia . I have looked at the street bob set up which would work but i'm not really sold on that style for my bike . Also these rear axle coves kury style they quote they dont fit FXSTB but i gather if you grind a tab they will fit so i take it that its a easy one to sort as i'm not the most gifted spanner. Finally for now whos got what in a swing arm bag could i please get some suggestions and what and where to buy a good product .

Cheers Wayne

guys while were on tires, im thinking about bumping up my front rim width to 3.5 x 21, and running a fatter tire, any body ever do thi with a 3.5 x 16 in the back as well. wanna go
120 70 21, and 150 80 16, so as not to raise the overall ride heighth with an 18 in the back. pics please if you have pulled this off, im concerned the back will not look fat enough in comparrison to the fron wheel.
