$109 ticket on weekend for bar height! - damn I really need to stop being lazy and install the progressive lowering kit I have sitting here.

My barz were only 2" above my shoulders - so if I had the front lowered I think I would have rode away with no ticket

Glad to see you're doing well and welcome back! I hadn't seen you posting in a while and wondered where you went. It was floated that as many night train guys as possible were gonna do Sturgis in 2015 (in case you didn't see it)

Mid, that sucks man. What's the law up there, shoulder height? That's what it is here and lowering the front def helps. Now I just gotta sit up nice and straight when Johnny Law is around. Then I slouch back down

Whats up guys... So I went to Myrtle Beach for bike week. Hadn't been there since 1999. I was kind of worried about the trip because of all the negative post on ALL of the forums. It has definitely changed. Not nearly as many bikers as back in the day and most of the action is down in Murrells Inlet now.

A lot people still boycott MB proper because of the laws that the city counsel passed back when they were trying to put an end to bike week. Just so everyone knows, all of those laws have been reversed or relaxed. I had zero issues with the MB Police. Loud pipes and no helmets every where you look. Got trashed several nights just hanging out in the Hotel parking lot talking about about the three Bs.

The only bad part of the trip was the ride home. 500 miles with lots of rain......

Hopefully in a few more years it will be back full swing.

Ya barz arent supposed to be higher than shoulder this cop was a dick. I have been through lots of road checks with no problems and in the past my triumph had 18's and never got hassled then either oh well like I said, the progressive "drop in" is supposed to lower the front a ful 2" and that is how much I was "over"

Would have been sweet if I had the Shotgun - could have fuked with the cop by airing it when he went to go get his measuring pole and then slammin it right as I rode away lol - next year
