Sweeeeeeeeeet, Ive been drooling over a Storz inverted front end for over a year now, but at $2400 new I just couldnt justify. Just picked one up off flea bay for $380, basically new. A shop was selling out parts from a custom build that the guy never paid off. The front end was mocked up to a frame and that was it. It's a good day.
Chaz...A.K.A. Gadtelecom1.

A killer tip I learned for soldering is to use a wooden clothes pin to act as a third hand for ya. I might recommend this sweet little DIY for the wiring portion.
Story,
Did you make the tank lift yourself or did you buy it? How much of a lift is it inch wise?

jcmer....nice ride...going to look great lowered...you might want to lower the front to and put gloss black front lowers on while you got the tubes apart....
ok anyone....they are cracking down on sidemount license plates in my area..$1000.00 fine. I don't have the bread for a tri-bar, so, anyone that has a tri-bar and still has their stock brake/license plate bracket for the 200mm tire that they want to sell cheap, please PM me.
thanks

I am just waiting on a skull horn cover that is on back order right now, and the bike will finally be where I want it...or so I thought. While I was at the local tint/decal shop today to check out one of my friend's new bike, the local airbrush artist took notice of my train. They said that they had been looking for a bike like mine and offered to do some custom airbrushing on it, I would just have to bring them my tins and cover the cost of the supplies. They would like to do a locomotive design down the sides of the tank, but with a skull at the front of the train, I'm guessing similar to the design that Harley offered a while back with their "skull train" paint set. I have seen a lot of their work, so I know the quality is there, but I'm not sure if the custom paint is the way I want to go with this. I think it would be a sick design, but I also like the look of my plain black tins. Plus it would just be an excuse to buy a streched tank = more $$$. What do you guys think?
