I did it early this afternoon, and the temp today was about 65. I am hoping to put it all back together tomorrow. Any ideas??
I am not a paint expert. Did you sand or primer your lowers. I learned the hard way. I used several coats and let mine dry for a couple of days. I did this over the winter after surgery so I wasn't missing any ride time. I'm sure others with a lot more experience will chime in. . .

Those look pretty badass. My concern with any 2-2 pipe is the potential of losing even more power with my stage 3 build. The only reason I run the BSS is that they are the only 2-2 pipe on the market that I'm aware of that have the powerchamber and stepped pipe design. I have like $2500 spent on my motor and would hate to lose even 5% of my power as I'm up at 6,000 feet above sealevel losing 10-15% already!

I have a 211' build and the 211's are soft on the bottom to start with, softer yet up at 6000 above sea-level and a set of 2-2's that scavenge funky would probably make it run like a dirtbike with a powerband that hits at 4000 RPM. Which is pert close to what it does now.

Those are quite wicked looking but I see a pipe designed to make more power in my future. Some performance oriented 2-1 pipe that has at least a little nastiness to it!

Your bike is looking badass Bro. Is that a low profile console i see on there?

Interesting pipes man. I wonder how they would look with the chrome front and blacked rears? Probably like every other tommy with a roll of exhaust tape, huh??

Why doesn't someone make an "affordable" (hahahaha) dual setup with a hidden crossover? Seems like some gain would be had without the going to a 2-1 or having the stock obvious-as-hell crossover by the heads. ???

Has anyone ever seen or tried a take lift on a Train? I am scoping out recession mods and this one may qualify at under $40.

Yes, I wet sanded the chit out of em' with some 600 grit, used some good primer (about three coats), and then applied several light coats of enamel black. I ended up with about ten light coats of gloss black enamel. They look VERY nice, just waiting to put it back together. They are dry, but I want to make sure they have enough time to cure right.

They do http://www.vanceandhines.com/product...shotsstag.html

And they are on my bike and brand new without even a swirl mark. Better than new as i polished em' semichrome so they are coated!.

They are also for sale!!!

$300.00 shipped to whoevers door want em.

V&H BSS have not only the hidden crossover but they are a stepped pipe as well. 1 3/4 to 2 1/8. Full chrome heat shields. Solid pipes.

Yo' Refuze....

Money Pit has that other dudes bag done and is starting on mine in the next few dyas. Look at this one he made for another guy. I'm thinking of going with my Spade logo with a 13 in it and maybe Chazmanian in olde english script.

I use mine so much that I dig the tought of the easy release latches as the buckle deal on the la rosa takes me to long to get my phone or a smoke when I'm jonesin'.
