You would miss riding around in circles endlessly Mark.
7408 the first and most important thing is what you do for a living before deciding on any where to live.
I was 18 when I left NY so it didn't matter what I did at the time. That was 41 years ago and now days it makes a difference. Good luck. I always tell people NY is a nice place to be from.
You got a point, being from NY you really learn how to survive in the rat race. I feel younger now then when I was 20 living on my own making great money and spending it all just to survive. A lot of opportunity back then for jobs, now not so much. It really gave me the work ethic and drive to bust ***. Down here, same work ethic and mentality of working hard to play hard goes so much further. But I am enjoying being able to enjoy my time and have fun and not be caught up in the rat race and who will die with the most money in the bank. Which, I guess will be none of us since we all succumb to HD spenditure!!!!
NY is a nice place to be from, and visit in the fall!
The saddle bags are made by Leather Pros-Lp3200 series & they are detachable. The lids are plastic reinforced & they will not cave in & they lock shut & also lock to your bike. The bag on the back seat is made by Bikers Friend & is a PVC tube wrapped in leather. The ends open up & it's amazing how much stuff you can pack in there. The bag on the back rack is a H.D. bag that holds my camera gear plus other stuff. I've had all 3 bags sense 2010 & have been on 3 long hauls with them-twice out to Cal. & back. As far as mounting gear is concerned the sadlle bags come with there own bolts to hitch them up & all other bags are straped with bungie cords.
Sup Lund... Good to see you're still alive... You like that clutch setup better then the springs??? Bike is looking good brah, hope everything is good with the OL and the kiddo.
Ya bud, things are ok around here. Buried one of my best friends last month, other than that, bikes running great. How's things in paradise? This ball bearing set up is cool, not to noisy. My 3"primo is better I think. However, my shovel has half the horse power. & dropping 52 ball bearings on a garage floor suck!
Very sorry to hear about your friend Lund... That's never easy and the older
we get the more it happens.
I must say the BDL is pretty simple to take apart though, I'm still running the should
bolts and springs, but I was thinking about upgrading in the future.
Sorry to hear about your friend, Brian! Bike is looking good. BTW: you're suppose to keep the bearings sandwiched between the plates, not on the garage floor.....
