I know its sacrilege to ask about chrome but I like the look of the chrome wheels...and I plan to black out my pipes to offset them lol. Also, I was looking at maybe doing some cheaper wheels from HD so that the front and rear match: http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

Give me some ideas, but I'm in no way spending $1K or more for wheels, I didn't even spend that for my truck rims....
IMHO wheels can make or break a bike. I would say get the wheels you want the first time around so you don't want to change them out again.

And it was a huge pain in the *** to polish the solid rear disk that I had on my train. Plus you can really tell when its windy or passing a big rig with the solid wheels. If I had been able to keep my Train, that would have been the next mod... to get rid of that rear wheel

Yeah I understand that, I like the chrome spoke front that's why I was just looking at switching out the rear. I like the way that chrome'd stock wheel with the circle cutouts looks. It'll only cost $400 shipped (bearings and mounting cost extra) and that'll leave me with money that I can put towards a 2-1 pipe, looking at the D&D fatcat or lowcat in black...

Cy you gotta pick your on path brah... Other wise all our bikes would look the same... If that what you like then by all means do it. I'm sure you looked at tons of pictures and took awhile to decide... if you go that route maybe think about doing the rotors it makes a huge difference.

I can understand what Seth is saying also... If you are doing it because it's what you can afford right now but, you really like another setup... Then maybe you should save a little more and go for the ones you dream about...

Well to be honest, I'm dreaming of a road glide at some point so that I can have 2 bikes! So money not spent on expensive *** rims will be the down payment haha (even though it won't be for a few more years). I'll prob do up the chromed stock wheel, I haven't seen anyone on here with it yet lol. Then I shall have me a side order of the blackened fatcat or lowcat with my chromed holy dish...

Mmmmmm
