Cup... thats amazing they had lots of friends, Travis and Jenny knew how to have a good time... haha Let your wife know that after the memorial service on the flightline Jenny took his ahes over to the waters edge and released them into the ocean... People were tossing flower leis and flower peddles into the water. It doesn't happen to often during these memorials so I found it very touching.

Abb you check out your local sears? The cheaper bike jack goes on sale pretty regularly hell you can get it for less than that 96 shipping charge, or where you lookin to get the Harbor frieght ride on lift?

Looking to get something like this. With a regular motorcycle jack you can’t get the shotgun to drop down out the way when you change your oil. With this there is nothing in the way at the bottom.

Thank you. I passed that along to my wife and she was glad to know. She thought very highly of him. Sounds like it was a moving ceremony.

We both miss Hawaii and look forward to going back sometime.

**** just sheared the threads off my jackshaft, mangled a few teeth on my ring gear. Anyone have an idea why this would happen & how to prevent it.

At first I said over or excessive jacking was the problem till I realized what you were talking about.
It had to be making a grinding noise or have that slow heat cranking sound to it Lundee. My starter did the same thing when I raised the compression without using releases. It bent the shaft.

I just put a new starter in teri weeks ago, shes started for 300 miles just great. Then like you said, made a god awful grinding noise & barely started. Do they make a better jack shaft? I really dont want ti send my heads off til winter.

I put in a Spyke 1.8 starter and it still had warm problems with 10.5 comp. Did the releases and it runs with 1 crank every time.No problem cold or just warm starts but when hot it was too much for even the big starter. Also put a button on the solenoid, sometimes the little wire from the handlebars just won't carry the amps to engage the starter. It's a little tight with the stock tank and lines but doable.
