I'm still waiting on lighted trim piece for my lic plate bracket(hopefully tomorrow) as well as my new pulley, rotors, and solo seat, but they are back ordered for about 2 more weeks, so they will go on after Bike Week.

Have plans on down the road to add a shot gun kit, then trim the rear fender down to about 24" from 28" and may also add some 2" under tubes in the front, but all that will be after the summer most likely.

Thanks to Aaron(Scheers44), Rob(Night Train Rob), and Chuck(Tx Outlaw) for helping spend my money, getting me some good deal on parts, and for advice...appreciate it gents!

Crazy - great job, bike looks sick!

No pics. But since she hangs with friends of mine I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunities this summer.

Got a question. I'm a fan of the all black gas tanks and want to remove the stock HD decal on my 2000 train. I see a lot of y'all have decal free tanks and was wondering if any of you had any luck just removing the sticker from under it's coat of clear or if all of you had just had the tanks sanded and repainted.

I found a YouTube video where a guy uses an exacto knife, wd40, and a hair dryer on his tank and it actually worked quite well. Just curious if anyone here has tried. Thanks.

Edit. Here's a link to the video:

Cup: I did a few additional things to my tank, mine's re-painted. If you know someone at a collision shop, I'd ask how much it would be for them to do it. The paint/body work on mine cost me 2 cases of beer.

Cup, I wouldn't try it. Ask around at local body shops for a price.
