Do it! They clean up the bike nicely...
Pegs? What pegs! We dont need no stinking pegs...Oops. "Hi Honey wanna ride today"?
Mine cost me $70.00 smackers and I think they were worth every centavo. If you could win those at $45 you would be doing well. They have really solid build quality.

The place I got mine was from dk-trader. They are called Alloy Art Passenger Pegs for Softails. It was the only ones I found, used, for a good price. The other couple I found were still WAY too high for my blood.

Good kill on those pegs fer' $55.00!! pc em' black and ride on!
On another note....
I'm really an offroad guy at heart and used to big high fenders but on this bike my front fender is really starting to irk me.
I'm on the verge of just pulling it off altiogether. The derned thing sits so high off the tire! Its almost like my KTM's fender (OK not that crazy...But what the?)
I guess my question is how are the no front fender guys getting along with rocks that get thrown up by the front tire or any issues with losing the bracing qualities of the fender bolted to the fork?
This is just too much gappage.
Lose the front fender? Any issue with the fork feeling loose or excessive rock and road trash slapping of me and the bike?
Now this is a good gap and a functional gap.

If you really ride your bike don't take it off. Either
Get a new fender and paint it or wait and get all your tins painted. Don't go without a fender. That's just my 2 cents though. Money pit just finished my bag like yours. I can't wait to get it. He put some nice touches on it. I did black leather with some good designs on it that I came up with. He came up with the idea of how to lay it out. It looks sick. I should have it Friday.
