666 tape a piece of 10 ga. extention cord around your tire and it will come out like this. It's been over 120 several times with no problems.

Ok lets spend my money! I have $1000-1500 to spend on my motor. I planned on cams,se hydraulic conversion w/new oil pump, timken bearings, push rods,lifters. Ok well I pulled the cam cover off...tensioner shoes look fine. So do I stick with plan A or... their on new shoes, slap in a cam screw the hydro set up, and put in a big bore? I have the luck of dealer cost in drag and custom. Lets shop!
Anyone know the minimum clearance I'd need on a front wrap around fender? Buying one this week and was shooting for 1/4" then read something about tires possibly expanding in the heat and rubbing. I want it to hug the tire but don't wanna go up in flames. Should I go with 1/2" clearance instead or will 1/4 work? Thanks.
Here’s how I did mine just like the Proes mentioned. I found it worked best to me to put a stripe down the middle and the then down the edge of the tread if you just do one stripe down the center the fender tries to rock. It turned out great. I’ve had a couple people say they think it’s too close and I was just like good thing its mine then and not yours I guess. One dude kida pissed me off about it.
