Thanks everybody for the kind welcome! It's funny you should bring up the Walker Texas Ranger I've been called that since I was little. Future mods....... smoked turn signal covers should be here Friday. After that I was thinking a Black RSD front fork brace has anybody tried them? Are you guys taking off your front fork sliders and painting them black or buying them aftermarket?

back when I had the wide glide forks I took off my own sliders, sanded the clear off of em and ran em in to the powder coaters... was cheaper that way and I also learned how to do it. course now I got the springs so eff it haha.
I know some folks have just left em on the bike and taped em off and did the rattle can thing. whatever works dude.

I have the RSD fork brace on mine and so does Scheers. My fender wouldn't fit back on with my front wheel and tire and I just wasn't comfortable riding without anything. You will get sprayed in the face if you ride through water. As far as the lowers go, I just rattle canned mine because I didn't want to take them apart. They have been good for over 2 years. Used this thread to do it:

I forgot who was gonna do their drop ins already... lol It's easy we dropped the frontend down out of the top tree but left it in the bottom tree remove the bolt under the stem holding your brake line for a little more room... make sure the jack is towards the front of the bike.
