I've seen some paint hold up better than pc. You gotta take a little more care with it tho - clean and wax.

Well Jojo came over and helped me (Thanks Brah) it's just good to have someone to hang out with when messing with the bike. It was kind of a pain in the ***... had to gut the ends of the grips out with drill and a grinding stone, then we had to drill the bars to get to the set screw... the instuctions said a 1/2 from the end of the bars... WRONG... I guess it depends on what kinda grips you have... They said to use a 1/4 bit so I just had to drill the hole out a little bigger to give me enough clearence so the throttle don't get sticky on me.

But, I think I'm sticking with the 0* trees I ordered, I'll let you know how it goes!
I hate to go against the grain here but I can’t find ANY fact to support that harley has a raked tree. The specs I found on my 09 (Softail Custom is the same) says 32.3* rake and 34* fork angle. Couldn’t that difference just be in the tube length? HELL IDK

Be sure to give us a full report after riding with them, Mark.......

I'm not 100% sure either. Couldn't find any documentation stating the use of raked trees, other than the differing rake specs and comments on here. I'm just gonna put my 0* Pro Ones on there and see what happens. Probably won't get to the project for another month or so, but others are running 0* and say it's just fine. If it sucks, I'll change it.
