2D what'd ya have to do to cram that wheel in there? anything?

 

Fender off spread frame rails 1/2" or so.Think Baker did his with a mallet. I used a porta power to spread mine.Cut off any excess fender bolt and use skinny nuts.Should end up with 1/4" or so either side. That's with a 160-16.Now that I see 2D's set up it should slide right in there. The wider rim and less side wall height should free up a little more clearance.Mine has never rubbed even with the long fender Imboden.Only 4 Jack+ cokes to do the whole job timewise.

 

What G said, just need to spread the horns.
Before doing that I suggest centering the new rim and tire first.
Get the measurements for the spacers you'll need to get for the new rim once centered.

 

huh no kiddin eh? good time to call coastal and have em get me the right rim for it... I think I ordered an 18x3.5 for the rear
