Officially became a basic rider today, gonna pick up my papers so I can get a real driver's license now. Kalifornia...

Anyway, first bike ever is the Train and I made it through BRC without dropping it, can't say the same for some kid with a '11 Wide Glide, he took it for a skid between cones.

I did it on base. They only had loaner bikes for people who didn't have their bike for some kind of legit mechanical failure. I would have rather done it on someone else's as go not mess up my pig, but it is what it is.

Hell I don't even think the bike I used was a 250. The instructor made me switch the 250 I had with some 6'4" guy who couldn't fit on the Lil Yamaha and I mean LITTLE. It gave my friend who took the class with me a good laugh.

I KNOW people always talking about how their sportster is faster but I didn’t get a Hog to be racing so I don’t really don’t give a chit
You'd change your mind if you got to ride and hear a 89 or 100 inch Sportster or Buell Abs.Arm ripping power that just don't stop.Got to agree on the looks dept of any stock Sportster. All the time and coin I got in mine and I think it still looks like ****.Drop one in a streched rigid frame with a springer and things change.Wish I had done that with mine the first time.I like the lightweight you can throw the bike around a lot easier than the Train.
What was you're hands on the service managers neck Tx?
Hard not to like this style.
