I'm friggin tired and tired of this heat too! Friday afternoon can't get here quick enough.......

 

I was looking at my bike when I got home and I noticed some spots that were worn on my cable shielding from rubbing. Any of you guys dealt with that and what did you do to fix it?

 

Actually feeling pretty good. Iced it down after riding and feelin no pain.I'm gonna head your way Sat if no rain 44.
If your talking about your control cables Ash if ya don't isolate them from touching they're gonna do that.Once you get some miles on it you won't pay attention to things like that.**** I'd have to paint mine every couple of months from nicks and scrapes.Gives them character.

Ash what kinda cables u got? U talkin bout the clear coat over em bein rubbed away some?

 

They are Magnum Shielding and yea the clearcoat is rubbing through in spots.

 

Dude I used to work with had that had him wrap it in the 3m digi-shield tape like what's on the fender under the stock seat and use some clamps to keep em from rubbin not sure what happened after he left here though.
